Grand-Am: Pole master Rick Taylor gets another one in Laguna Seca

Pole master Rick Taylor, 21, managed to get his team a fourth consecutive pole position in Laguna Seca on Friday. Max Angelelli and he will be looking for a third victory in four races on Saturday.

Jon Fogarty realised the second best time in the No. 99 Gainsco Chevrolet-Railey he shares with Alex Gurney. Points leader Memo Rojas was third fastest in the No. 01 Telmex BMW/Riley he shares with Scott Pruett.

In GT, Alex Davis got a second career pole in the series and a first since 2006 in his Porsche 911 GT3. Wayne Nonnamaker took the second position with his Mazda RX-8 co-driven by John Edwards.
