Source: Grand-Am The last five minutes of the Thursday afternoon's Grand-Am Rolex series practice session shook up the leaderboard, and as the dust settled all five different engine manufacturers sat in the top-seven slots on the time sheets. Memo Rojas turned the fastest lap during the last five minutes of the session behind the wheel of the No. 01 TELMEX/ Lexus Riley, turning a lap of 1:12.824. Pruett held the top spot of the session for most of the one hour, 45 minutes the Daytona Prototypes were on the racetrack before Rojas took over for him. David Donohue slipped into the second slot on the time charts on a flying lap of 1:13.350 that was actually completed after the checkered flag flew. The No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Ford Riley of Oswaldo Negri sat third in the time sheets with a lap of 1:13.381 at the conclusion of the session after being bumped by Donohue's lap. Marc-Antoine Camirand and Guy Cosmo clinched the 16th fastest time in the new Spirit of Daytona Racing / Porsche Coyote. Liddell Tops Rolex Series GT Practice Robin Liddell turned a fast lap of 1:19.430 to top the GT practice charts, leading a field of 26 GT machines around the 2.3-mile, 11-turn infield road course at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Driving the No. 57 Stevenson Motorsports GXP.R, Liddell led three Pontiacs in the top-five. Rolex Series rookie Lawson Aschenbach followed Liddell on the time charts in the No. 72 Autohaus Motorsports GXP.R with a lap 1:19.514. Spencer Pumpelly was the quickest driver not in a Pontiac, as the TRG pilot lapped the Homestead-Miami Speedway circuit in 1:19.751 behind the wheel of the No. 67 TRG Gleukos/Porsche GT3.
