Sébastien Loeb announced, in a press conference at Le Castellet, that his future racing team will make its debuts in Porsche Carrera Cup France championship in 2012.
"I ran in this series before, and I was impressed," he said. Each competitor is evolving with the same car, so it’s the driver that makes the difference. The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup can be ran in several series, that was an important point for us."
"We will run two cars in France, but the 911 GT3 Cup can also compete in Porsche Supercup, and in Le Mans Series in GT Challenge."
Loeb Racing Team will also probably run a Formula Le Mans in Le Mans Series championship, in order to prepare for a future entry in the Le Mans 24 Hours.
