GT1: Nissan dominates Portimao race

Team JR Nissan dominated the Portimao meeting, taking both rounds of the weekend ; its GT-Rs taking a win each.

JR Nissan set a 1-2 result in the qualifying race, when the car driven by Richard Westbrook and Peter Dumbreck took the win ahead of team mates Lucas Luhr and Michael Krumm.

Luhr and Krumm inherited victory in the championship race when the sister car was forced to retire after gearbox problems. Mucke/Turner (Aston Martin DB9) and Campbell Walter/Brabham (Nissan GT-R) completed the podium.
