The Best All-Season and Summer Tires for Cars in Canada for 2021 Here’s our guide to the best summer and all-season tires available this season

Goodyear

Describing everything that American manufacturer Goodyear offers in its catalogs would require pages of description. Suffice to say, then, that, like Michelin, Goodyear has a product for every conceivable application.

For the average motorist, Goodyear has its legendary Assurance line, which is available in a variety of forms, including MaxLife for everyday sedans and Fuel Max , an all-season tire with low rolling resistance.

If you have a sportier car, check out Eagle tires, whose F1 division meets the needs of fast car owners, even exotic cars (there are even run flat models).

By the way, did you know that Goodyear also manufactures specialty tires (besides the race tires seen in NASCAR) including temporary spare tires and even Endurance trailer tires specifically for those vehicles that require a dedicated type of tire?

And of course, Goodyear also has its line of all-weather tires, called the WeatherReady and which are intended for motorists who don't drive much and don't want to change tires for the winter. Again, their effectiveness may be limited (though, I should stress, not useless!) in deep snow, but this product is primarily aimed at those who don't care to drive when the weather is not favorable.

At the time of writing, Goodyear is said to be in the process of acquiring the American manufacturer Cooper Tires. We don't think this transaction will have a big impact on the products the companies offer, but we might see some changes in the sales and marketing of Cooper products. Stay tuned!
