Pirelli Scorpion
The Italian manufacturer offers a nice range of tires for trucks and SUVs especially under the name of Scorpion, especially the All Terrain Plus and the ATR for 16- to 20-inch wheels.

Toyo Open Country
A very aggressive Japanese tire, the Open Country is a reliable product offered in 47 sizes for rims from 15 to 24 inches. Almost all versions have a heavy-duty three-ply construction.

The A/T 3 version is more for drivers who want a tire for both on- and off-road use, while the M/T and R/T versions feature a more aggressive tread for serious touring.

Yokohama Geolandar
For Japanese manufacturer Yokohama, the Geolandar name has become a legend. In its A/T G015 version, it is available for rims from 15 to 22 inches with a two- or three-ply construction (depending on the size).

In the M/T G003 version, this Geolandar becomes more aggressive. Its three-ply construction for wheels from 15 to 24 inches makes it an ideal choice for more adventurous excursions.

We have a set of Geolandar G015 that we will be using in the next few months on a Nissan Xterra for on and off-road trips in Northern Quebec. We'll also have the new G017 to make a comparison.
