The French manufacturer has revised and corrected one of the most apparent defects of its previous generation X-Ice tires. Today, it's called X-Ice Snow and I put it to the test on my front-wheel drive Lincoln MKZ. Last winter, which was more snowy than icy, allowed me to confirm that the X-Ice Snow meets our Canadian requirements very well, especially in terms of grip.
By the way, there is a studded version of these tires, the X-Ice North , specifically designed for our winters. It has a maple leaf logo on its sidewall.
