Honda Announces 2003 Accord Coupe Prices

The prices of the all-new 2003 Honda Accord Coupe were announced by Honda Canada Inc. today. With Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices starting at $25,200, the all-new Accord Coupe will arrive at Honda dealerships early November.

Completely redesigned to further differentiate it from the Accord Sedan, the Coupe benefits from a more aggressive style that is entirely unique - none of the sheet metal is shared between Coupe and Sedan. While taking styling cues from the sporty S2000 roadster , detailed attention was paid to the Accord Coupe 's aerodynamics that resulted in a coefficient drag of 0.29, making it one of the most "slippery" 5-passenger coupes available. Aiding to create a sportier driving dynamic, chassis dimensions - such as width and wheelbase - also differentiate the Coupe.

This 2003 Accord exudes a completely different character than the 2002 model, starting with an all-new, race-developed 160-horesepower 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine. Equipped with a redesigned 5-speed manual transmission, multi-cone synchronizers are found on first through fourth gear delivering better shift feel and smoothness. A new, electronically controlled 5-speed automatic transmission is optional. Starting with the LX-G trim, all trims are equipped with new features such as a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, Electronic Brake Distribution, high-tech LED-illuminated dashboard and a new 'Wave' style multifunctional key.

With the EX-L trim, in addition to a leather trimmed interior, a new dual-zone climate control system is standard equipment along with an in-dash 6 disc CD player with steering wheel mounted controls.
