HRT Formula 1 cars to contest BOSS GP series

The 2012 HRT F1 cars will return to action in the BOSS GP series, after the two chassis were bought by Spanish businessman, Teo Martin.

HRT closed its doors at the end of the 2012 Formula 1 season after spending three uncompetitive seasons at the back of the grid, which saw it take the record for the team having the most starts without scoring a point.

However, Martin has acquired the F112 chassis and all the necessary equipment to run them in the BOSS GP series championship, which begins at the end of May, and is made up of a grid of ex-F1, IndyCar and CART machinery.
