Hyundai adds new vehicle test facility at Nürburgring

As announced last week, Hyundai Motor Europe is currently building a new vehicle test facility located at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife race track in Germany.

Covering 33,000 square feet and representing a €5.5 million investment, it will be used by engineers to enhance the driving dynamics, quality and durability of future Hyundai models.

Four months ago, the Korean automaker committed to re-entering the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) in 2014. Lessons learned developing and competing in the new Hyundai i20 rally car will also be used to improve Hyundai’s production vehicles.
