Hyundai Canada Announces Pricing, Details for 2020 Palisade The Palisade SUV launches on 24 June, and should be at dealers soon thereafter

By ,

The media launch for the all-new 2020 Hyundai Palisade takes place in less than a week, and we’ll be there for that. In the meantime Hyundai Canada has announced details and pricing for the versions to be offered here.

The starting price for the new three-row utility model is set at $38,499, this for the base model with front-wheel drive. All other iterations will get AWD, feature that will increase the tab by $2,000. You’ll find the pricing for each version below.

As for the model we’ll be driving for the first time next week, we know it will run on a 3.8L V6 engine, which produces 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque in combination with an 8-speed automatic transmission. In versions equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels, the model also gets an auto-leveling rear suspension.

As well, if we go by what we’ve seen in the Palisade’s cousin over at Kia, the New Telluride, the off-road capabilities of the SUV will be more than a mere after-thought. The Palisade will benefit from the latest-generation HTRAC all-wheel-drive system, which includes several drive modes conceived specifically for off-roading.

At the same, the interior gets its share and more of comfort and convenience features, and the higher trims, those with seven seats instead of eight, will offer more than a whiff of luxury in their interior environments.

Even the base models will come with functions like heated front seats and steering wheel.
