Hyundai clients most loyal in the industry

These days, Hyundai is the most successful automaker in the world. On top of rising sales that are helping it snatch up even more market shares, it manages to retain more clients than anyone else.

In its second quarter 2011 market analysis, Experian Automotive shows that Hyundai, with an average loyalty rate of 49.6%, ousted General Motors (48.1%) and Ford (47.6%) from their top spots.

Hyundai’s rise is the result of its Kia brand taking first place with 47.9% and its Hyundai brand coming in fourth with 40.5%.

Jeffrey Anderson, director of consulting and analytics for Experian Automotive, says the “5 year/100,000 km warranty program and the improvements in vehicle styling and quality clearly helped them gain and maintain a strong and loyal customer base.”
