IndyCar officials were excited today to announce that ABC will telecast one more additional race in 2012, from 5 in 2011 to six this year.
ABC ’s telecasts will start with the season opener on March 25th in St Petersburg. The other races will be the Indianapolis 500 (May 27), the Belle Isle race in Detroit (June 3), the Milwaukee Mile (June 16), the Toronto street race (July 8) and the Aug. 5 race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
All the other races will be available on the Versus channel that has now been rebranded NBC Sports Network.
