As revealed earlier by Auto123.com, Bryan Herta Autosport has now officially joined forces with American Honda for the upcoming Indianapolis 500 and the remainder of the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series.

Team Barracuda – Bryan Herta Autosport will soon receive the Honda V-6 turbocharged 2.2-liter engines and therefore join A.J. Foyt Racing, Chip Ganassi Racing, Dale Coyne Racing, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Sam Schmidt Motorsports and Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing as Honda-powered teams at the 2012 Indianapolis 500.

BHA was originally associated with Lotus but the relationship felt apart during the earlier part of the season and Bryan Herta decided to part ways.

Other Lotus-powered teams did the same as Dreyer & Reinbold confirmed its switch to Chevrolet and Dragon Racing, which is suing Lotus, is also expected to announce an agreement with General Motors.
