Jay Howard will have another run with Sam Schmidt Motorsports and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing as he will take part in the next IndyCar double-header in Texas next weekend.
The Briton drove for the Schmidt/Rahal partnership at Indianapolis, where a strong month was ended by a crash in the pit exit when a wheel came loose following a tire change.
The teams and their sponsors have now been able to put together a package for Howard to contest the double-header event at Texas as well.
