IndyCar: Justin Wilson to be back with Dale Coyne

By ,

According to reports, Justin Wilson and engineer Bill Pappas have apparently reached an agreement with Dale Coyne Racing for the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series season.

For Wilson, it would be a return to the team to which he had scored its maiden victory in 2009 at Watkins Glen.

After that season, Wilson joined Dreyer & Reinbold, the first of three different teams he raced for in the last four seasons.

After a freak accident during practice at Mid-Ohio last year, the former Formula One driver missed out on the last six races of the season.

Honda is expected to provide power for Wilson, who is currently headed to Daytona to test for the Rolex 24 Grand-Am race.
