Interbrand releases 15th annual Best Global Brands report

Interbrand today released its 15th annual Best Global Brands report. While Apple (No. 1) and Google (No. 2) dominate the rankings, automakers like Toyota (No. 8) and Mercedes-Benz (No. 10) managed to crack the top 10.

When determining the top 100 most valuable brands each year, Interbrand examines three key aspects that contribute to a brand’s value:
  • The financial performance of the branded product and service;
  • The role the brand plays in influencing customer choice;
  • The strength the brand has to command a premium price or secure earnings for the company.
