IRC: Thierry Neuville wins rally Tour de Corse

Thierry Neuville (Peugeot 207 RC) took win in rally Tour de Corse, third round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge.

The Belgian driver took his first win in the IRC after he dominated the race, with eight super stage wins. He leads the Skoda Fabia driven by Jan Kopecky, who concluded the event with a 15,5 second deficit.

Freddy Loix was third aboard his Skoda Fabia, and moved up in front of provisional championship classification.

The course car driven by Ari Vatanen had an accident in ESS6. The Finn was airlifted to the hospital in Bastia, then in Marseille, for an operation on his neck.
