Honda Performance Development (HPD) announced today that it has extended its relationship with the Indy Racing League to supply engines to the IndyCar Series for the next five years.Honda joined the IndyCar Series at the start of the 2003 season, and became the sole supplier to the series in 2006.On its part, the IRL announced that it will host a manufacturers' round table in June to openly discuss future chassis and engine rules.
