Japan February Vehicle Exports Rise 4.7% Compared to Last Year

Japan's vehicle exports increased to 394,050 vehicles in February, representing a 4.7% gain over the same month last year, according to the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association.

In hard cash its gain equals 9.6% at $11.63 billion ($7.92 billion USD). Nissan's surge in the market, Toyota and Honda's steady progress plus Mitsubishi's debut into Canada helped progress the country's fortunes.
