It was ARCA's first official REMAX race in Canada and Justin Allgaier (Chevy No 16) won the 257-lap event that was run at the Ontarian Cayuga Speedway (1/2 mile oval) though he had spun midway during the race. Veteran Frank Kimmel (Ford No 44) and Roush-Fenway sensation Rick Steinhouse (Ford No 99) came in second and third. Canadian Pete Shepherd (Ford No 39) ended up fifth while ex-Formula 1 driver Scott Speed (Camry No 2) finished eighth.
