Karting: Tough luck for Canadians Wickens and Stroll in Bercy

Canadians Robert Wickens and Lance Stroll competed in the ERDF Masters Karts in Paris-Bercy this past weekend.

Stroll, a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, ran amongst the top runners and even took the lead of Sunday's final race for the Juniors. Unfortunately, he was pushed against the plastic wall by Dorian Boccolacci and slid down to last place.

Monaco resident Charles Leclerc crossed the line in first place ahead of Baccolacci, Hunert and Latorre. Stroll recovered well however and managed to finish the race in 10th place.

Robert Wickens, the reigning champion of the Formula Renault 3.5 series and reserve driver of the Marussia Virgin F1 team had some difficulties getting to grips with this short 550m indoor track. He also took it easy not be get involved in accidents.

Wickens scored his best result in Saturday's final race where he finished 12th.
