A five-door hatchback will be sold worldwide, with select European markets (including the UK) also receiving a three-door model.

The new Picanto is longer and roomier than its predecessor, offering 27 percent more utility room.

Customers will have four engine options ranging from 64 to 83 horsepower and 59 to 69 lb-ft of torque. In addition to a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder, there will be three variants of the 1.0-litre engine (petrol, flexfuel and LPG bi-fuel).

LED daytime running lights and keyless entry/start will come standard along with 6 or 7 airbags depending on the trim level.
Des feux de jour au LED, l'entrée et le démarrage sans clé ainsi que six ou sept coussins gonflables équiperont la voiture de série, selon les modèles.
