Lamborghini has announced that the 5,000th Aventador LP 700-4 left the factory a few days ago ― 55 months after the start of production. The milestone car was sold to an Italian customer.
For comparison, the Lamborghini Diablo had a run of just 3,000 units from 1990-2001. Lambo’s most successful model ever, the Gallardo, saw 14,022 units exit the factory.
