With the unveiling of the Revuelto SV during Monterey Car Week in California, Lamborghini pushes its plug-in hybrid flagship to new performance extremes - including a maximum output of 1.051 hp.
Super Veloce
Reviving a legendary Super Veloce badge that traces back to the 1971 Miura SV, the new model becomes the most powerful and fastest production car ever to emerge from Sant’Agata Bolognese. Production is limited to 1,963 units, in homage to the year the company was founded, and those are reserved exclusively for existing clients and collectors.
Powertrain of the Lamborghini 1,051-hp Revuelto SV
The SV combines Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine with three electric motors. Among them, we find two axial-flux units on the front axle and one radial-flux unit mounted above the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
While the internal combustion engine continues to produce 814 hp (or 813 in standard trim specifications) at a screaming 9,250 rpm redline, optimized electrical output raises total system performance to 1,051 hp and 1,051 lb-ft of torque.
From 0 to 100 in just 2.4 seconds
That added electric boost propels the all-wheel-drive hypercar from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in 6.7 seconds on its way to a top speed exceeding 345 km/h. Demonstrating its track credentials, factory driver Marco Mapelli set a 1:41.6 lap time at the Hockenheimring, making it the fastest production car recorded at the German circuit.
To manage the extra performance, Lamborghini engineers heavily revised the car's aerodynamics and chassis dynamics. A new front splitter, underbody design and motorsport-inspired double-wing rear setup deliver an 80-percent increase in total downforce over the base Revuelto.
Manually adjustable GT3-derived dampers provide a 10-percent gain in lateral grip, while upgraded CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brake discs (measuring 420 mm up front) improve peak deceleration and heat dissipation.
A sophisticated vehicle estimator tracking six degrees of motion coordinates the power delivery alongside a new, five-stage Pilota driving mode derived from Lamborghini's GT3 racing programme.
Visually, the Revuelto SV stands out with new centre-locking forged wheels wrapped in bespoke Bridgestone tires, extensive exposed carbon-fibre body components and specialized interior trim options, including Dinamica racing bucket seats.
