Land Rover confirms Range Rover Evoque Convertible production

What started as a rumour in December is now a reality: Land Rover has confirmed production for the Range Rover Evoque Convertible and posted some images as evidence. The model will go on sale in 2016, the company says.

The desire to create a folding-top Evoque arose a long time ago, with a concept introduced in 2012. The future production Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be built at the same Halewood plant as the coupe and SUV versions.
