Le Mans 24 Hours: Highcroft Racing withdraws from Le Mans

Highcroft Racing will not take part to 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, following the reduction of financial support from Honda.

The Japanese car manufacturer decided to step back on his involvement in competition, following the earthquake that devastated the country earlier this year. The HPD ARX-01e, that finished second in the12 Hours of  Sebring, will not be on the grid at Le Mans in June.

Following this withdrawal, the Lola Aston Martin ran by Kronos Racing is therefore be allowed on the starting grid of the Le Mans classic endurance race.

The team already took part in the test day. The car will be driven by Vanina Ickx, Maxime Martin and Bas Leinders.
