On February 24, Québec Transport Minister Julie Boulet revealed the location of the photo radars and traffic cameras that will be installed in accordance with the Government of Québec's bill 42 pilot project. The 18-month project will be carried out on the Island of Montréal and in the Montérégie and Chaudières-Appalaches regions. The targeted areas will be identified, warning motorists of the segments and intersections sporting the devices. For the time being, offences will not result in any fines. A letter will be sent to the owner of the vehicle stating the fees normally applicable for the offence. Once the project is permanently implanted, fines and administrative fees will be transferred to the Traffic Safety Fund. Here is the list of photo radar locations.
