You can't attend an international auto show and not take the time to admire the gorgeous Italians. But here, there were a few North American premieres. Ferrari introduced its beautiful 599 GTB Fiorano, a classic grand touring car with modern F1 technology -- stability control systems, ultra quick 6-speed transmission that changes gears in 50 milliseconds, and so on. On top of that is a design that defies time. In fact, the 599 GTB marks 60 years of Ferrari design.

The car, the hostesses, the CEO... everything and everyone seemed exotic. Just take a look at the exquisite lines of the engaging Murciélago Convertible as well as those of the pretty ladies -- breathtaking from every angle. The pictures are really worth a thousand words. Uncle Sam's homeland has become Maserati's main customer. No less than 14 of the 25 Maserati MC12s (each costing $1.2 million) have been sold there. Meanwhile, the Quattroportes are selling well. We might also see some novelties in 2007.
