In one of the most bizarre stories of the year, a man in West Hartford, CT recently stole a Chinese food delivery truck with the engine still running and, much to the surprise of customers who had been informed by the restaurant owner that they wouldn't received their orders, had the courtesy of finishing off the deliveries!
Local police quickly caught up to the Chinese food bandit en route to the next scheduled delivery, where he was arrested and charged with third-degree larceny, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia (crack pipe), and failure to keep drugs in the original container.
Will his delivery work count as extenuating circumstances? Don't bet on it.
