Mazda2 The all-new Mazda2 (otherwise known as Mazda Demio in Japan or to Gran Turismo players) is the first product of a new line of Mazdas much like the Mazda6 did 4 years ago. Its fluid lines are pleasant to the eye. The car lighter and more compact than the model it replaces however it offers more interior room. At launch, the new will be available with three newly developed petrol-engines: a 1.3L with 75 hp and 84 hp. The more powerful offering will be a 1.5L that develops 103 hp. There have been talks concerning the arrival of the Mazda2 in North America however nothing is official.
Hakaze Concept This concept, pronounced (Hah-kah-zay) is the most production-ready concept that Mazda has unveiled over the last 6 months, the other two being the Nagare and Ryuga. This concept proposes the same type of fluid lines than the other concept and gadgets such as exterior cameras for mirrors and the absence of door handles.Power comes from a turbocharged 2.3-liter DISI 4-cylinder or, optionally, a diesel engine. Both will be joined to a 6-speed transmission, itself mated to an AWD system.
