The Kabura Concept uses some of the MX-5's underpinnings and follows in the footsteps of the Sassou and Senku Concepts. Not only does the Kabura share parts of the chassis of Mazda's excellent roadster, it also makes use of its 2.0L I4 and RWD drivetrain. The goal of the exercise that is the Kabura is to join practicality and versatility with pure driving enjoyment. The styling of the concept looks like a mixture of cues from the MX-5 and the RX-8.
