Mercedes C-Class Estate revealed

By ,

Just a few months after the debut of the C-Class sedan, Mercedes Benz is unveiling the Estate (Wagon) version of their new model. The German automaker says that the C-Class wagon combines the agility, safety, and comfort of the sedan but adds more space for buyers.
The C-Class wagon can hold 1500 litres of cargo and comes with an automatically opening and closing rear hatch, operated with the push of a button. Additionally, an EASY-PACK cargo kit allows endless options for partitioning of the rear storage compartment while keeping belongings and cargo in place. C-Class estate follows the sedan's buyer-customization process, which allows choice between several configurations- namely Classic, Elegance and AvantGarde. These packages reflect certain styles and equipment levels which highlight comfort and performance to various degrees. An agility control package is also available, which monitors driving conditions and style, and then alters suspension damping accordingly- favoring a soft and comfortable ride during laid back driving and a firm, sporty ride while driving sportingly.Keeping occupants and cargo safe is a comprehensive selection of safety equipment including seven airbags, and NECK-PRO head restraints. The C-Class is safe for the environment too, and its C200 CDI diesel model is certified to burn as little as 6 litres per 100km.
