Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher competed in a round of a one-make KTM series at Misano, in Italy on a 990cc Super Duke. The German managed to complete the race in 4th place after qualifying 3rd. Schumacher, who still remains involved in Formula 1 as an advisor and occasional test driver for the famed Scuderia Ferrari, played down suggestions that he is seriously considering a career on bikes.
