Michelin is taking advantage of the international window provided by the Detroit Auto Show to launch its Energy Saver all-season
tire technology designed for passenger cars travelling under 16,000 km per year. The tire is part of the Green X range and will likely be marketed during the summer of 2009.
With the Energy Saver technology, Michelin's engineers will enable consumers to reduce their fuel consumption by way of a lower rolling resistance while maintaining all the essential safety characteristics of the tire, such as braking on wet pavement.The Green X range includes a wide variety of tires ensuring, as their name suggests, fuel-efficiency and low
