BMW will host the world premiere of the new 2013 MINI John Cooper Works Paceman next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Featuring four individual seats, 18'' alloy wheels, and a sport exhaust system with chrome tailpipes, the MINI JCW Paceman is motivated by a 218-horsepower, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that achieves 0-100km/h acceleration in 6.9 seconds, along with an electronically limited top speed of 226 km/h.
According to the EU test cycle, combined fuel consumption (city and highway) for the MINI JCW Paceman amounts to 7.4L/100km with the manual gearbox, and 7.9L/100km with the automatic.
The turn signals, door sills, front grille and rear hatch all sport the John Cooper Works logo. Nine body colours are available, including Chili Red with matching stripes up front, on the sides and on the centre console.
The 2013 MINI John Cooper Works Paceman will hit the market in March. Pricing and Canadian availability have yet to be announced.
