Mitsubishi, like every other manufacturer, is exploring and working a hybrid system. The Concept CT is an AWD sporty compact hatchback. It uses in-wheel motors at each corner coupled to high-energy lithium-ion batteries. Like all hybrids, the power pack is mated to a gasoline engine. Together, they create an impressive amount of power and increase cruising range.The Concept CT was developed by Mitsubishi's California design studio like the Raider and Eclipse.CT stands for Compact Technology and MIEV stands for Mitsubishi In-wheel motor Electric Vehicle.
