The Mirage features an all-new 1.2-litre MiVEC engine and impact-resistant RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body.

It will sell in Thailand starting at 380,000 Thai baht, or about $12,250 Cdn. Mitsubishi forecasts selling about 2,500 unit a month in Thailand. The car will sell next to ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries, Japan, and Europe, eventually expanding into other markets.

Mitsubishi in January 2011 announced a three-year business dubbed “JUMP,” which emphasizes putting operating resources into emerging markets, particularly ASEAN nations, which include Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
