By ,

We reported last October that eight-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi was complaining about the use of electronics aids to driving that were harming the spectacle and making the MotoGP machines too easy to handle.Well, it seems that the Italian was heard in high places as the head of Dorna, holder of the commercial rights to MotoGP, Carmelo Ezpeleta, stated that the next major regulation change will be to decrease the importance of rider aid electronics in the championship.« I've asked the manufacturers to look for a solution, » Ezpeleta said to Motosprint .« But we won't see anything in 2009. We'll need more time. » photo: Bridgestone
