Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo's participation in this week-end's race his much in doubt as the Fiat Yamaha's pilot has been taken to hospital after a massive crash during this morning's first free practice for Sunday's Chinese MotoGP race.Lorenzo is suspected of having broken or at least severely injured his right ankle in the crash. Indeed, x-rays showed a chipped bone in his left ankle. His upper body braced as he took the impact on his forearms, Lorenzo´s injuries have been limited to his lower body.In the meantime, the same trios of racers dominated both free practices as Italian Valentino Rossi battled Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa and champion Casey Stoner who demonstrated that he is back in good form on his Ducati.
