Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers in the 2009 Nationwide series?

By ,

The rumour has been flying around since the last few months but according to NASCAR Scene Daily, it seems more and more possible that manufacturers will go for Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers bodies for the 2009 Nationwide (ex-Busch) season. In 2009, this series will have its own Car Of Tomorrow chassis with its own front suspension that will give it a different handling. A higher hood and shorter deck lid will also differentiate the Nationwide cars from the Sprint Cup cars. Up to now, it seems most likely that Toyota will stick to its Camry body.
