NASCAR: Andrew Ranger to race in Daytona

By ,

Canadian Andrew Ranger will be on the starting grid for the upcoming Nationwide season’s opener at Daytona International Speedway February 25th with the Go Canada Racing team.

Alan Labrosse, Ranger's manager, has confirmed the news, also stating that the two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series' champion will also take part in no less than 15 races in both the Nationwide and ARCA Series this season.

Further negotiations with Cunningham Motorsport, one of the best teams in ARCA, are also planned for the coming days but it is believed that Ranger will be more involved in the Nationwide series with Go Canada Racing.

As usual, the Roxton Pond native will also take part in some NASCAR Canadian Tire Series’ races with Dave Jacombs Racing. The road circuits of Mirabel (ICAR), Edmonton, Trois-Rivieres and Montreal are on Ranger’s schedule.
