NASCAR: Bowyer wins the shortened Nationwide race at Bristol

By ,

NASCAR decided to call it a race after 170 of the expected 300 laps of the Nationwide race held this afternoon at the Bristol International Speedway in Tennessee because of the rain. At that point, Clint Bowyer (Chevy No 2) was leading the race and he was proclaimed winner. Kasey Kahne (Dodge No 9) came in second followed by David Reutimann (Camry No 99). Canadian driver D.J. Kennington from Ontario (Dodge No 81) had to settle for 34th place.
