Twenty-eight drivers will take part in this weekend's Budweiser Shootout , which will give the first indication of performance due to the testing ban put in place by NASCAR for this year.Contrary to what was done in the previous years, only the top six cars from each manufacturer, based on the 2008 owner standings will enter the event. All manufacturers are also allowed a wild-card entry.Last year's winner Dale Earnhardt Jr says the shootout will not necessarily show how strong everyone is ahead of the season-opening Daytona 500, which takes place a week later.The race will consist of two segments, the first of 25 laps and the second of 50 laps, split by a 10-minute pit stop.
