The 2011 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series’ season will come to an end this week-end with the presentation of the Kawartha 250 at the Kawartha Speedway.
Series' standings leader Scott Steckly will most likely win his second title; becoming the only other driver besides Andrew Ranger to win two titles
Assuming a 26-car field at Kawartha Speedway, Steckly simply needs not to finish last and not lead a lap while doing so, but that’s still only half the equation. If Steckly were to finish last and not lead a lap, D.J. Kennington, the only other driver mathematically alive, has to win the race.
The only way Kennington could steal the crown would be by finishing second in the race and leading the most laps; Steckly still having to finish last and not lead a lap.
