Carl Edwards (Ford No 60) started the Kroger 250 NASCAR Nationwide race in 34th place at the Memphis Motorsport Park Saturday afternoon but rapidly took the lead on lap 69 never to finally win the event. David Reutimann (Camry No 99) came in second followed by Kenny Wallace (Chevy No 28) and young Austin Dillon (Chevy No 21), owner Richard Childress' grandson. Joey Logano (Camry No 20) finished fifth but series point leader Clint Bowyer (Chevy No 2) had a bad race to end up 16th. Canadian D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) came in 20th place. With only three races to go, Edwards is now only 116 points away from Bowyer.
