IndyCar’s Danica Patrick will be back in NASCAR next year for at least the first four Nationwide Series races of the season, as other events will be decided in regards to her IndyCar commitments.

JR Motorsports officials confirmed that Patrick would run at Daytona, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Bristol.

Patrick will take a break from NASCAR after Bristol to concentrate on her IndyCar season through the Indianapolis 500 in May.

The team’s co-owner Kelley Earnhardt said Patrick could run up to 14 races.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is expected to run at least four races in the No. 7 Chevrolet, but the car will run the full season.

Since running in two different series at the same time this year, Patrick has had her share of difficulties even in the IndyCar Series where she finished a distant 10th in the final standings in what was a lack-lustre season.
