Recently fired Elliott Sadler will probably remain with the newly-form team Petty/GEM after having reportedly reached an agreement, which will see him in one of the team's car for 2009.
Sadler , who was prepared to file a breach of contract suit against GEM after reports surfaced that the team was in talks with A.J. Allmendinger, seems to have struck a deal which will see him stay on while Allmendinger will join the team on a part-time basis as part of a fourth car entry.
