Veteran NASCAR driver Greg Biffle (Ford No 16) finally got his first pole of the year in a NASCAR Sprint Cup race for the Dodge Challenger 500 race that will be run there on Saturday evening. He did so by turning the fastest lap at the newly repaved Darlington Raceway in South Carolina Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Chevy No 88) will start second and Jimmie Johnson (Chevy No 48) third. As for Canadian Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 10), he barely made it and will be credited with the 43rd and very last starting position. Johnny Sauter (Chevy No 70) and Jeff Green (Chevy No 34) did not qualify.
