NASCAR: Jimmie Johnson says injury is healing well

From nascar.comReigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson's cut finger is "healing well," and he plans to test several braces on his left hand when Daytona International Speedway opens on Friday.Johnson accidentally sliced his finger with a kitchen knife as he attempted to alter his driving suit during last month's Rolex 24 sports-car race at Daytona. He had surgery to repair a tendon, and the stitches have been removed.He said the area is still a little clumsy and swollen, but his grip is rapidly improving. "We have two or three braces to try out," he said Thursday."I've broken more bones through the years racing motorcycles, falling off golf carts, cutting myself, whatever it may be.
